Program Design:
Kristin will take the lead on synthesizing the content of
the group’s literature evaluations and design a survey to allow the group to
select the elements of African Indigenous learning that will be included in the
program. Marlena and Jessica will edit and respond to the draft of the program
design, and approve the final draft moving forward. The group will solidify the
plan with a teleconference or email discussion and publish the results to the
blog.

Jessica will take the lead on program evaluation by finding
professionals to do the evaluation and relaying the analysis to the group. The
group will evaluate the program from the viewpoint of the professionals and
decide on changes or additions that will strengthen the program design. The
group will continue to communicate via email or teleconference to discuss the
program and publish the evaluations to the blog.
Program
Demonstration:
Marlena will take the lead on program demonstration and
begin to organize the program materials. Jessica and Kristin will support the
process with suggestions, technical/formatting help, and editing. The group
will publish the final program demonstration video and presentation to the blog

Test: I removed the background color and enlarged the font a bit. How does this look? Please comment here because I am trying to see if the notify feature works. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis looks much better! Thanks for taking the time to improve the look of our chart!
ReplyDeleteHi African Indigenous Knowledge Group:
ReplyDeleteI love the background you used for your blog. It definitely matches your subject! I would recommend playing a bit with the template "Advanced" features... you can really get the colors, fonts, backgrounds exactly the way that you want them. You just need to give yourself a bit of time to play with the cosmetics when you are not pressed for time. Also, I would recommend adding "Pages" that have each of your deliverables... These will then look like clickable tabs for each assignment. You have a really good start on your table, but I have a feeling you will want to put more detail as to who will do the particular tasks for each assignment. I did the same thing in one of my previous classes with Dr. Chang, and she was very kind to give us a chance to go back and make our group plan more detailed.
Good luck, Alexandra
Thank you so much, Alexandra. I went back in and added a plan. We honestly didn't know that it had to be more detailed. I have noticed that you have a lot of talent in blog design from your comments on other group's blogs, so feel free to come back anytime with suggestions! I will make sure to add the pages to make it neater. Take Care, Kristin
DeleteKristin,
DeleteThanks for going back and adding to our plan. I did not know that it had to be more in depth either! :)
-Jessica
You have an extremely interesting topic, and I can't wait to see what you will develop as the project moves forward!
ReplyDeleteGroup 5:
ReplyDeleteI agree with Alex's suggestions! The color matches your topic! I like the background color you selected! I like that the size of the table is decent and the I can see the words very easily! I also like that you highlighted the leader of the each assignment, which is easy for us to see!
In your Group Evaluation, you can further identify who will be responsible for which part of the assignment. This will give you a clear idea of each member's roles in this assignment.
I am not sure if you can adjust the space of the blog so that you have more space for the contents of the assignments posted in the middle part of the blog. Currently, the right side takes a large portion of space.
Bo
Hi, the general layout of your group plan looks good. Like ours, your plan may adjust as needed throughout the semester and that's perfectly fine. You have a very intriguing topic and I look forward to being informed by your future work.
