  1. Kristen,
I enjoyed reading your literature review on African Indigenous Knowledge and Learning Styles. How wonderful it is to use dialogue in the process of learning. Another way to use dialogue is in storytelling in which dialogue is used to show what is happening not just tell what is happening. Think of all the possibilities of what we can learn from African folklore. Not only has the lack of dialogue in African societies caused escalations in violent crimes, but one could argue that in the US we have lost the art of dialogue as well. No one talks anymore and there definitely is not an appreciation of the differences among Americans. With the advancement of social media, we no longer connection with each other on the deepest of human interactions. So it does not surprise me that many Americans have lost the meaning of life. I think we all should pay attention and revisit the African Indigenous Knowledge and Learning Styles.

    Thank you.

  2. Hi Kristin,

What a fascinating project you have here! I so much enjoyed reading about this learning method. Particularly the concept of Ubuntu and how it is described. I really like the fact that you made the connection to how this method is similar to the Western practice of cohort style learning programs.

I also must mention that I love your writing style. You have such a nice clean way of expressing yourself. As well, your command of vocabulary is very fresh!

    Good luck,
    Alexandra

  3. Kristin,

This is a very well-written literature review paper! It is thoroughly reviewed. You have provided very detailed ideas of African
    Indigenous learning.

    Suggestions:

In Introduction, tell us some background information about African Indigenous learning.

Integrate the contents at the right side of the table into Implications.

    Check APA about headings/subheadings.

At the beginning of Themes, cite scholar’s work.

Check APA about direct citation for over 40 words.

    Bo
